Finding work as a Teacher of English is easy, especially if you are CELTA qualified. We are constantly being contacted by language schools in Milan who are seeking qualified teachers of English. During the CELTA course we have a specific session on job hunting, including how to put together a CV, questions to ask a prospective employer and a list of schools which we know from reports over the years treat staff well. It’s all part of the course!

There are many private language schools in Milan and the surrounding areas. Recruitment takes place all the year round, but October and January are definitely the busiest months.
It is also worth contacting schools once you have been offered a place on a CELTA course. They may well want to interview you and offer you a job on condition that you pass the course.
