Accommodation
Finding short-term accommodation in Milan is getting easier than it used to be. You should allow about 600 to 700 Euros per month for a basic studio flat, and a little less than that in shared accommodation.
This page aims to provide all potential candidates with a list of options that they can use to book their own accommodation. We have found these resources useful, and are sure you’ll find something with a little perseverance:
- First night: Hotel Berna or Hotel New York . Both are very close to Central Station and reasonably priced.
- www.easymilano.it is a publication for the English-speaking community in Milan. It is published every two weeks and you can download the latest issue from their website. There are always lots of advertisements for rentals or shares.
- www.postoletto.com is an Italian website specialising in shared accommodation.
- www.easystanza.it is another website worth checking out. It’s in English and includes profiles of people and photographs of properties.
- www.anticacortemilanese.it is just outside Milan, but very well connected. Specialising in flats for short stays. Recommended by a former CELTA candidate.
- www.clickflatshare.co.uk/Milan/ is a site where you can see and post ads for flatshare in Milan. FREE!
- milan.craigslist.org/ Definitely worth a visit for more than just accommodation in Milan.
Please be careful! Under no circumstances should you agree to hand over money for an apartment before you see it: there are a lot of internet scam operators out there.
